About Margaret Vote
YOUR LOCAL AGENT FOR 24 YEARS
If experience and reliability count in this local market, then my unrivalled longevity and achieving the highest possible sales result for my clients speaks volumes.
I have seen almost every possible real estate market over my decades as an agent, so I know how to protect your investment and achieve a great outcome for all.
My mission statement has always been to keep ‘everyone safe in the transaction’, and this gives me immense joy.
I have been an agent for more than 24 years in the Wynnum-Manly-Lota areas and the Principal Agent at Raine & Horne Wynnum Manly for 18 years. Prior to this I was a Building Consultant on new homes for nine years, but I feel my real training was many years prior in the beauty and hairdressing industry where I learnt to ‘listen’ to people.
As a mother of seven children, grandmother to 18, great grandmother to eight I have an understanding of what life is about and I’m very experienced handling challenges and problem solving.
At age 54 I gained my recreational pilot’s licence and within 35 hours had acquired my licence and then set off around the heart of Australia (QLD, NT, SA, VIC, NSW) in a small plane with five accompanying planes. It was a challenging experience I will never forget.
Recently I was honoured to be awarded a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International for my contribution to support the success of Tom Oliver’s Wynnum Fringe Festival over the past two years.
To stay fit I have been a participating member of the Manly Dragon Boat Club for three years and was so proud to be chosen for Queensland State team to compete at National Titles in Adelaide in April.
My passion has always been for people and my love of the local bayside area. I sponsor and support many of my fellow locals such as the spectacular Wynnum Fringe Festival, Manly Dragon Boats, Pandanus Paddle Club, Action Indoor Sports and just recently the Social Mum’s Group. It’s just one way I like to pay it forward.
